Our Programs
Our summer arts camp offers a wide range of activities and programs that cater to different interests and talents. Our programs include performing arts, fine arts, music, dance, rock bands, circus, film, musical theater, acting, improv, technical theater, sports, fun, watersport, fun, and friends. Each program is designed to help our campers develop their skills, build confidence, and make lifelong friends.
Performing Arts
Our performing arts program is one of our most popular offerings. It includes theater arts, music, dance, rock bands, circus, film, musical theater, acting, improv, and technical theater. Our experienced staff helps our campers hone their skills and showcase their talents in various performances throughout the summer.
Fine Arts
Our fine arts program allows campers to explore their creativity through painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, and mixed media. Our skilled instructors provide guidance and support as our campers learn various techniques and styles.
Music
Our music program offers campers the opportunity to learn and play a variety of instruments, including guitar, piano, voice, strings, brass, and percussion. Whether they are beginners or experienced musicians, our campers can participate in group lessons, private lessons, or ensemble performances.
Dance
Our dance program offers classes in ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, tap, contemporary, and ballroom dance. Our experienced dance instructors teach our campers various techniques and choreography, and they also get to perform in our end-of-session dance show.
Rock Bands
Our rock bands program is perfect for aspiring musicians who want to learn how to play in a band. Our campers are grouped into bands based on their skill level and musical style, and they get to perform in front of their peers.
Circus
Our circus program offers campers the chance to learn various circus skills, including juggling, unicycling, trapeze, lyra, silks, acrobatics, and clowning. Our campers also get to perform in our end-of-session circus show.
Film
Our film program allows campers to explore their creativity behind the camera. They learn how to write, direct, and edit their own short films, and they get to showcase their work at the end of the session.
Musical Theater
Our musical theater program offers campers the opportunity to learn about all aspects of musical theater, including singing, acting, and dancing. Our campers get to perform in full-scale musical productions at the end of each session.
Acting
Our acting program teaches campers various acting techniques and helps them build their confidence on stage. Our campers get to perform in one-act plays, scenes, and monologues.
Improv
Our improv program allows campers to explore their comedic side and learn how to think on their feet. Our campers get to perform in improv shows at the end of each session.
Technical Theater
Our technical theater program teaches campers about the behind-the-scenes aspects of theater, including lighting, sound, costumes, and set design. Our campers get to work on productions and help bring the shows to life.
Sports
Our sports program offers campers the opportunity to participate in various sports activities, including soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, swimming, kayaking, and more. Our experienced coaches help our campers develop their skills and build teamwork.
Fun, Watersport, Fun, and Friends
Our fun, watersport, fun, and friends program offers campers the chance to participate in fun activities like scavenger hunts, talent shows, and water games. Our campers also get to enjoy water activities like kayaking, paddleboarding, and swimming.
Daily Schedule
Each day at Long Lake Camp for the Arts is filled with a variety of activities and programs. Our campers start their day with breakfast, followed by morning classes in their chosen activities. After lunch, they participate in afternoon classes and electives. In the evening, they enjoy dinner, followed by camp-wide activities and performances.
Buildings and Facilities
Long Lake Camp for the Arts is located on a beautiful 200-acre campus in the Adirondack Mountains. Our facilities include state-of-the-art theaters, dance studios, music rooms, art studios, a circus pavilion, a film studio, and sports fields. We also have comfortable living quarters for our campers and staff.

Location and Directions
Long Lake Camp for the Arts is located in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. We are easily accessible by car, and we also offer bus transportation from various locations in the New York City area.

The health and safety of our campers is our top priority. We have a full-time nurse on staff, and we take all necessary precautions to ensure that our campers stay safe and healthy throughout the summer.
