• LANAP: A progressive technique using a specialized laser to destroy the bacteria which cause disease and alters the tissue so that it has the opportunity to heal.
• Scaling and Root Planing: A form of nonsurgical periodontal therapy that is often the first step in periodontal treatment.
• Periodontal Surgery: The ultimate goal with surgery is to reduce the periodontal pocket and control the destructive inflammatory process involved in periodontitis.
• Bone Regeneration: Regeneration procedures serve to direct the growth of new bone and gum tissue at sites having insufficient volumes or dimensions of bone or gum tissue for proper function.
• Gum Grafting: A surgical procedure that involves covering an exposed root with gum tissue.
• Crown Lengthening: A surgical procedure that recontours the gum tissue and sometimes the underlying bone around one or more teeth so that less of the tooth below the gum line is covered and more of the tooth above the gum line is exposed.
• Cosmetic Periodontal Surgery: Designed to enhance the appearance of your smile by reshaping the gums and underlying bone.
• Dental Implants: Small titanium posts which are designed to provide a foundation to help replace single or multiple missing teeth.
• Site Preservation: Refers to a specific application of bone grafting that attempts to prevent the resorption of bone that normally follows the removal of a tooth.
• Ridge Augmentation: Refers to the process of adding or building up bone in an area of bone deficiency.
