Our team members have extensive experience in the accounting profession and have worked with clients from various industries. Barren L. Watson, CPA, Principal

Barren "Barry" Watson founded B. Watson & Company in 2002. With over 25 years of experience in the accounting profession, Barry has worked with clients in various industries, including healthcare, financial services, real estate, construction, transportation, nonprofit, technology, and entertainment. He oversees the firm's client development, tax compliance, and overall management. Prior to establishing B. Watson & Company, Barry served as a Senior Audit Manager with a medium-sized Atlanta-based firm. Barry is a trusted advisor to his clients and serves as the CFO for many of his small business clients. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA). Barry is licensed in Georgia and Virginia.

Ayana A. Bishop, CPA, Manager

Ayana joined B. Watson & Company in 2008. She manages the firm's Assurance and Accounting Department, as well as provides tax preparation and general accounting services to clients. Ayana has over 15 years of experience in the accounting profession. Her years of experience include providing assurance, accounting, tax, and financial services to small to medium-sized businesses. She has worked with clients of various industries, including retail, professional services, healthcare, real estate, construction, nonprofit, and entertainment. Prior to joining B. Watson & Company, Ayana was an Audit Supervisor at a large accounting firm based in Atlanta. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA).

Kiera A. Watson, Staff Accountant

Kiera is a recent graduate of Hampton University with a degree in Accounting. She primarily works in the assurance and accounting department. She has interned with the firm the past two summers, assisting with tax preparation and general accounting services. Kiera is a member of the National Association of Black Accountants, the Greer Dawson Wilson Leadership Program, and a former member of the Student Government Association of Hampton University. Kiera was raised in Stone Mountain and currently resides there. She enjoys listening to and creating music.
