Our Story

Linda Daly, the founder of Daly & Zilch, comes from a family with a long history in the construction industry. Her grandfathers were both involved in construction, her father is a retired master plumber, and her brother currently owns and operates the family's plumbing and heating business in Buffalo, New York. Linda's love for construction was nurtured from a young age, and she eventually served as Vice President of Nichter Construction in Buffalo, NY, a commercial construction company with operations covering upstate New York and overseeing over 150 employees.

However, Linda's love for Florida and its unique lifestyle led her to start anew in Citrus County in 1996. She was drawn to the area's excellent schools, friendly community, beautiful golf courses, and the opportunity for business growth and making a difference. In October of that year, Linda married Charles (Bud) Daly, who would later become her business partner. Today, Linda and Bud are surrounded by five generations of family members who enjoy the various activities and lifestyle that Citrus County offers.
