About Us

For over 50 years, Rivoli Dental has provided comprehensive dental care to patients across New York State. With office locations in Avon and Painted Post, NY, we're proud to serve patients from as far as the Southern Tier to as high as the Southern Adirondacks. Rivoli Dental was founded by Dr. Sam Rivoli. In 1964, Dr. Rivoli started an orthodontic practice in Spencerport, NY, opening an additional orthodontic office in Webster, NY in 1978. Over the years, Rivoli has opened additional offices in New York State, offering a range of dental services and cosmetic procedures.

Meet the Team

Dr. Peter Rivoli - Avon & Painted Post

Dr. Peter Rivoli has been practicing in the Greater Rochester, NY, region community since 1989. He is committed to helping patients improve their bite and straighten their teeth, and his passion for orthodontics makes him an industry leader. Dr. Rivoli earned a B.A. in Pre-Dental from Ohio Wesleyan University. He completed his Masters Research from SUNY Buffalo Department of Oral Medicine. He attended the School of Dental Medicine from SUNY Buffalo, where he earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He went on to attend the Eastman Dental Center at the University of Rochester, where he earned his Certificate of Orthodontics. Before joining his father's practice, Dr. Rivoli worked as a general dentist in Buffalo, NY. He is dedicated to setting quality industry standards, and has completed continued learning through Peter Dawson's Center for Advanced Dental Study and Mark Piper's Advanced TMD Training. He has served as the past President of the Monroe County Dental Society and the President of the 8th District Dental Society.

Our Avon office is open Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Tuesday: Closed, Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Thursday: Closed, Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Saturday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM, and Sunday: Closed. Our Painted Post office is open Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, and is closed Saturday and Sunday.
