BBT Architects is a collective of individuals who listen, relate, and implement. Our purpose and passion are to bring thoughtful, healthy buildings to life, making us both community members and community makers - at home in Bend and building beyond.

Design Philosophy

Design is a conversation. It is a process that involves listening, relating, and implementing. At BBT, we believe that good design is not just about aesthetics, but about creating spaces that serve the needs of the people who use them. We believe in the power of design to improve lives and enhance communities. Our design approach is centered on openness, transparency, and connection. We strive to create spaces that are not only functional but also inspiring and beautiful.

Services

BBT offers a wide range of services, including architectural design, interior design, and project management. We have extensive experience in designing educational facilities, commercial spaces, healthcare facilities, and community buildings. Our team is dedicated to creating spaces that are tailored to the specific needs of our clients and the communities they serve.

Education (Pre K-12)

Through the design of more than 75 educational facilities and our work with more than 25 school districts, our engaged and collaborative approach remains client-centered, as well as responsive to innovations in education delivery and their direct impact on school design. Our portfolio includes projects such as Hamlin Middle School, Caldera High School, and Terrebonne Community School.

Higher Education

We have designed several higher education facilities, including the Robert D. Maxwell Center at Central Oregon Community College. These projects focus on creating innovative learning environments that prepare individuals to join today's specialized workforce or complete their education at a four-year institution.

Commercial

Our commercial projects focus on creating spaces that meet the unique needs of businesses and their employees. We understand the importance of a well-designed workspace and its impact on productivity and employee satisfaction.

Healthcare

Our healthcare projects focus on creating spaces that are not only functional but also comforting and supportive. We understand the importance of a well-designed healthcare facility and its impact on patient care and recovery.

Community

Our community projects focus on creating spaces that serve the needs of the community. These projects include community centers, parks, and other public spaces that bring people together and enhance the quality of life.

Community Scholarship
