At Woodside and Eckart Dentistry, we are a group practice that has been serving the Madison Park community for over 50 years. We are conveniently located in the heart of this beautiful Seattle neighborhood, which is home to a variety of great restaurants, shops, and attractions. Our office is led by two dedicated dentists, Dr. Collins Woodside and Dr. Tammy Eckart, who are passionate about providing the highest quality dental care and patient education.

Our Mission

Our mission at Woodside and Eckart Dentistry is to provide comprehensive dental care and patient education. We believe in fostering a casual and inviting atmosphere, allowing our patients to feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. We are dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest dental techniques and technologies, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Meet the Team

Dr. Collins Woodside was born and raised in Madison Park, and she graduated from the University of Washington for both undergraduate and dental school. She spent a year doing a residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York before returning to Seattle and Madison Park. In her free time, she enjoys running with her dog Buster, skiing with her family, including her daughter, and attending theater. She is a member of the Washington State Dental Association and the Academy of RV Tucker Gold Study Clubs. Her favorite ice cream flavor is Mocha Almond Fudge.

Dr. Tammy Eckart graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and completed her externship in a pediatric dental office. She volunteers with the Seattle Dental Clinic and is a member of the Washington Dental Association, Seattle-King County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Eckart was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin, but has called Seattle home for the past 18 years. In her time away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family, photography, musical theater, and exploring the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Her favorite ice cream flavor is Strawberry Frozen Custard.

Dr. Chester Woodside, who is now retired, graduated from the University of Washington Dental School in 1967. He began practicing in North Seattle before moving to Madison Park, where he has been a long-time resident. He is a member of the Seattle-King County Dental Society, Washington State Dental Association, and American Dental Association. Even though Dr. Woodside is retired, he frequently visits the office to visit and eat lunch. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, biking, photography, and traveling the world. His favorite ice cream flavor is Chocolate.

Our team also includes several skilled hygienists and assistants who are dedicated to providing excellent care to our patients. They are passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest dental techniques and technologies, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Our office is conveniently located at 1901 42nd Ave E, Seattle, WA 98112. We offer free parking behind the office and are easily accessible by Metro Bus 11. Our office hours are as follows:

• Monday: 8am-5pm
• Tuesday: 8am-5pm
• Wednesday: 7am-4pm
• Thursday: 7am-3:30pm
