At Colorado Academy Summer Programs, we believe that summer camp should be an unforgettable experience that fosters self-discovery, growth, and joy. Our mission is to provide a unique blend of traditional camp activities, specialty programs, and off-site excursions that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our campers. With a focus on building self-confidence, we strive to create an environment where every camper can feel safe, supported, and empowered to try new things.
Our History
Founded in 2017, Colorado Academy Summer Programs has been a staple of the Denver community, offering a range of summer programs for children and teenagers. Our roots are deeply rooted in the passion and dedication of our director, Jenny Wilczewski, who has always believed that camp has the power to shape young minds and hearts. With over two decades of experience in education and camp leadership, Jenny has led our team in crafting programs that not only promote academic excellence but also cultivate life skills, such as teamwork, communication, and resilience.

Disappointing Experience
The author of this review, Amy Fleming, had a negative experience with the summer camp program at Colorado Academy. Her children had some disappointing incidents, including watching a movie about horses instead of actually going to the stables, and being bullied by other kids in a Ninja camp. The author was unhappy with the way the situation was handled by the camp director, who she felt blamed the victim of bullying instead of addressing the issue.
Positive Experiences
On the other hand, several reviewers had positive experiences with the summer camp program. Adriana Espinoza's children had a blast at the camp, despite one negative experience with a teacher. Deborah Hinz praised the camp's variety of activities and commitment to safety and inclusivity. Cassie Michel, a counselor at the camp, credited the camp's structure and staff with making it a great place for kids to learn and have fun. Kyla Hammond Real Estate and N. T. also had positive experiences, with Kyla's girls attending the camp for 6 years and N. T.'s son having a wonderful time despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Standout Camp Directors
Jenny, the camp director, was a standout in several reviews. Adriana Espinoza praised Jenny's caring and supportive nature, and Cassie Michel credited her with creating a positive and inclusive camp culture.
