Welcome to the home page of Harper Funeral Homes, serving the Albion and Avilla, and surrounding communities for generations. Our funeral homes are among the oldest, continuously operating, businesses in Noble County. With two recently constructed facilities, our funeral homes care for families in need throughout Northeast Indiana including Avilla, Albion, LaOtto, Kendallville, Merriam, Lisbon, Churubusco, Ligonier, Wolf Lake, Cromwell, Columbia City, Wawaka, Rome City, Brimfield, and Northern Allen County.

Our History and Leadership

In August of 2015, the funeral homes were purchased by area native Josh Harper. Through Josh's leadership, the funeral home has expanded offerings to meet the needs of today's families, while maintaining traditional values of community. Josh's dedication to serving families with compassion and respect has been instrumental in the growth and success of our funeral homes.

Services Offered

We offer a range of services including traditional funeral services, cremation services, and pre-arrangements. Our experienced staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist you in planning a funeral or cremation service that honors your loved one. We also provide grief support resources and information on social security benefits for the bereaved.

Community Involvement

Harper Funeral Homes is actively involved in the local community, supporting organizations such as the Knights of Columbus, Indiana Funeral Directors Association, Cremation Association of North America, Masonic Lodge, Indiana Volunteer Firefighters Assoc, Albion Indiana Chamber of Commerce, Avilla Indiana Chamber of Commerce, and Rotary International. We believe in giving back to the communities we serve.
