At Don's Drapery Manufacturing, we take pride in being a leading provider of custom drapes, shades, and hardware. Our journey began in a small workshop in Belleville, NJ, where Marie started making draperies for decorators. Over the next decade, we kept expanding our operations to accommodate the growing demand for our services. Today, we operate one of the largest and most modernly equipped drapery workrooms in New Jersey, spanning over 7,000 square feet.

Our Services

As a full-service provider of custom drapes, shades, hardware, pillows, cornices, and valances, we offer a wide range of services to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Our services include:

1. Consultation: Our project manager and design specialist work closely with design firms, architects, hospitality clients, and residential project managers to discuss specifications and provide expert advice.

2. Estimation: We provide accurate and detailed quotations for projects, working from blueprints or lists of measurements. Once an order is confirmed, our team measures the space if needed.

3. Manufacturing: All draperies and shades are made in our drapery workroom after taking measurements. We work with COM fabrics and our in-stock fabrics, offering a variety of pleats such as ripplefold, wave pleat, pinch pleat, inverted pleat, rod pocket, and grommets.

4. Installation: We schedule installation with our team of in-house professional installers. From extra-high windows requiring scaffolding to motorized drapery tracks, sound control, and outdoor drapes, we do it all.

Our Products

We offer a wide range of custom drapes, roman shades, hardware, motorized drapes and shades, commercial drapes, hospitality solutions, and residential projects. Our custom drapes are made-to-order, with a wide variety of pleats and liners available. We offer COM fabrics and a wide fire-retardant commercial and residential fabric line for our clients to choose from. Our roman shades come in various styles, including flat, hobbled, balloon, and unstructured shades.

Our hardware options include traverse tracks, motorization, and designer hardware for a stunning look. We also offer custom-made pillows, bench cushions, cornices, valances, and more. Our products are designed and manufactured in-house, ensuring the highest quality craftsmanship and service.
