Our History

In 1985, Jack Farr realized the printing industry needed a better variable printer. This led him to take his personal savings, buy an industrial print engine, and begin writing code for a print controller in the 3rd bedroom of his house. In 1986, Digital Print was incorporated and offered the first high-speed variable printing system for web presses to the world. The National Security Agency purchased one of the early systems for printing classified reports. Today, our talented team continues to innovate in leading-edge, high-quality variable data printing solutions.
