At Hayman Construction, we are more than just a construction company. We are a family business that has been dedicated to building a better future for our community for over 150 years. We have been in business since 1872, and are currently owned and operated by fifth-generation members of our founder, John Hayman. Our long history and commitment to quality construction have made us one of the most trusted and respected construction companies in Western Ontario.

Our History

Our company founder, John Hayman, was born in England in 1846 and later emigrated to Canada, arriving in London, Ontario on May 27, 1868. In 1872, he began operations of our current firm when he started working with his brother William under the name 'Hayman Brothers, Masonry Contractors'. By 1887, some of John's sons had joined the family firm, which by now was operating under the name 'John Hayman and Sons'. In 1913, it was incorporated as 'The John Hayman and Sons Company, Limited', which stands today as the head of the Hayman Group of companies. In 2003, 'Hayman Construction Inc.' was incorporated as a wholly owned subsidiary of The John Hayman and Sons Company, Limited, and all projects have been run under this name since March 2006. In 2022, Hayman Construction is proudly celebrating its 150th anniversary!

• Concrete Forming and Pre-Engineered Building Services: We specialize in concrete forming and pre-engineered building services, providing high-quality structures that meet the needs of our clients.

Our Projects

We have worked on a variety of projects throughout Southwestern Ontario, including industrial, commercial, institutional, educational, recreational, bridges, water and sewage, parking garages, high-rise, and historical projects. Some of our current projects include the Western Entrepreneurship Centre in London, the Country Terrace LTC Redevelopment in Komoka, the Dingman Creek Sewage Pumping Station in London, the Sifton West 5 Candela & Spektra in London, the Fanshawe College Penthouse in London, and the Hanover Apartment Concrete Work in Hanover.

Safety and Certification

At Hayman Construction, we are committed to safety and have been COR (Certificate of Recognition) certified since 2019. Our staff, both office and field, have worked hard to ensure that we meet the highest standards of safety and quality. COR certification is provided by the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA), and we are proud to be recognized for our commitment to safety.
