Peacock's Chapel In The Pines Funeral Home

Peacock Funeral Home & Crematory has a rich history of serving families in Whiteville, North Carolina and the surrounding communities since 1938. A.D. Peacock, the founder of the funeral home, was a graduate of Gupton Jones School of Mortuary Science and held NC Embalmer License No. 2. He was also the founder and first director of Boy's & Girl's Homes of NC, Lake Waccamaw, NC.

A.D. and his wife, Kathel Lee, established the funeral home with a commitment to providing compassionate and personalized care to every family they served. Their son, Don T. Peacock, Sr. and his wife, Peggy, continued the family tradition and operated the business after A.D.'s retirement.

Currently, Don's sons, D. Craig Peacock and Kyle G. Peacock, along with their mother, Peggy Peacock, continue to operate the business. The fourth generation of the Peacock family, Dr. Don T. Peacock, Jr., is also an officer in the company.
