Our founder, Rob, has a background in electrical engineering and has practiced this profession for over 28 years. With a passion for creating practical beauty in wood, he's found woodworking to be a creative outlet. His experience in engineering and home building has also led him to become a certified home inspector. Now, he's combining his passions for woodworking, engineering, and audio equipment to create handcrafted furniture for home theaters. This blend of old-world craft with new high-tech elements is what sets Sebago Furniture apart.

Rob's Background

My journey began with a degree in data communications engineering and a Master's in Robotics. Over the years, I've worked for various companies, including startups I've co-founded. My passion for creating something new led me to woodworking, which has become a significant part of my life. Building my own post and beam home and designing furniture for it was a natural progression. This experience has not only honed my skills but also fueled my desire to create furniture that's both beautiful and functional. Now, I'm excited to share this passion with you, combining my engineering background with my love for woodworking to craft unique pieces for your home or office.
