Our Story

John (Ryan) Bates, our founder, began his journey in the electrical trade as an apprentice to his grandfather at just 16 years old. After learning from his grandfather, Ryan went on to earn his Journeyman License and work for major electrical contractors in California, Nevada, and Texas. With 18 years of experience under his belt, Ryan decided to take the leap and start his own company, Bates Electric, Inc., in 2017. Since then, we've been involved in numerous projects, including the construction of dental and medical offices, apartment complex electrical services, and exhibit maintenance at The Witte Museum.
