Our Story
Amy Clark, the founder of Ocean Fire Pottery, has always had a passion for playing in the dirt and creating functional art. Her work has evolved over the years, but the foundation remains the same: functional, earthy, and substantial pieces that evoke a sense of serenity and simplicity. Each piece is carefully crafted to balance form and function, whether it's a sturdy serving bowl, a custom-carved platter, or a refined tea bowl.
Our Process
Our studio is dedicated to preserving traditional pottery-making techniques, including the use of a traditional wood-fired kiln. The unique, one-of-a-kind pieces created using this process are a testament to the beauty of handmade craftsmanship. The combination of natural elements, smoke, and ash melting onto the pottery creates a distinctive coppery finish that sets our pieces apart.
