Waters Incorporated, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, is a commercial real estate firm that's eighty five years strong. Our company has withstood the tests of time, the ups and downs of the economy, the cyclical nature of development and investing, and the whims of the marketplace. From our humble beginnings as the Keesler-Waters Company in May 1930 to our current status as a leading commercial real estate firm, we've diversified our services to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Company History

Our history is marked by significant milestones. In 1939, the company's name changed to Waters Insurance and Realty, and by the 1950s, we had diversified into multi-family development, commercial development, and commercial property management. The 1970s saw us enter the development and management of self-storage complexes, further broadening our expertise. The 1980s were marked by large-scale commercial development projects, including office, retail, and light industrial projects throughout the Carolinas. In the 1990s, we sold our insurance agency and created a parent company called Waters Investments, Inc., which owns real estate and securities. Today, we manage a diversified portfolio of commercial and self-storage properties and are active in brokerage services, finding and acquiring properties for our clients and investors.
