Our History

Our story begins in 1975 when local businessman and basketball official Jim Sackett started the company. Ten years later, a young employee and Wright State graduate, Joe Duncan, bought the company from Sackett. Duncan dedicated himself to providing personal service to our customers, making them feel comfortable and proud of their landscaping. After 36 years, Joe Duncan transferred the ownership of Ever-Green to Kirk Persinger, a 17-year veteran of the company. Kirk grew up under Joe's guidance and has continued the tradition of providing exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

He takes pride in being homegrown, having started his career at Ever-Green, and has accumulated a broad and impressive base in turf, mowing, commercial, and residential grounds maintenance.

Patty Johnston, Office Manager and Company Controller: With over 40 years of service at Ever-Green, Patty is the longest-tenured member of our staff. She's honored as "Outstanding Alumnist" by the Upper Valley Joint Vocational School. Call Patty for billing or procedure questions.
