Welcome to Adrian School of Massage, a institution dedicated to providing excellence in massage education, supporting local massage professionals, and benefiting our community through a public clinic and other wellness opportunities. Founded in 2014 by Christy Bossard (Gagneur), Adrian School of Massage has grown into a thriving center for learning and healing, serving the Adrian and Tecumseh areas of Michigan.

At Adrian School of Massage, we are committed to offering our students a comprehensive and supportive learning environment. Our 842-hour program is state-licensed and NCBTMB-assigned, providing students with a firm foundation in the science, application, and heart of massage therapy. Our experienced instructors offer individualized attention, ensuring that students receive a well-rounded education in both the technical and interpersonal aspects of massage therapy.

In addition to our educational offerings, we are proud to support local massage professionals and the massage therapy field as a whole. We believe in fostering a sense of community and connection amongst professionals in our area, hosting events such as Employer Meet-n-Greets to connect students and alumni with potential employers. Through our job board, we provide opportunities for employers to connect with our talented graduates.

We also host a variety of wellness events, bringing together local practitioners and community members to promote health and wellbeing.

As we move into 2024, we are excited to announce our upcoming relocation to a new location that will better meet our evolving needs. We are grateful to our community for their continued support and look forward to continuing to provide excellence in massage education, supporting local massage professionals, and benefiting our community.

Our History

Adrian School of Massage was founded in September 2014 by Christy Bossard (Gagneur), who was driven by a distinct vision to create a haven of compassion, connection, and integrity in the realm of massage education. In April 2015, a crowdfunding campaign was launched, and with the support of the community, the campaign exceeded its initial goal by over 500%. This allowed ASM to cover licensing costs, purchase equipment, and establish an in-house aid program that has supported students since. We are deeply grateful to our community for supporting our program and making it possible.

On September 15, 2015, we proudly welcomed our first class of seven students eager to begin their journey in the world of massage. Our first location was in downtown Adrian, on the same block as the Croswell Opera House. In 2016, we relocated to our current location on Occidental Highway between Adrian and Tecumseh. We are excited to announce our upcoming relocation in 2024 to a new location that will better meet our growing needs.

Our Graduates

We are immensely proud of our graduates and the impact they have made on the massage therapy field and in our community. To support our graduates and give back to the community, we offer a job board where employers can connect with our talented graduates. We also host Employer Meet-n-Greet events, providing an opportunity for students and alumni to meet with potential employers.
