She has also been honored as the Sherman College Chiropractic Career Advisor of the Year and has served on the Board of Directors of the Garden State Chiropractic Society, becoming the first woman to serve as its president. Dr. Joe Sasso, a 1983 magna-cum-laude graduate of Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic, has also received numerous awards for his service to the chiropractic community, including the GSCS' "Board Member of the Year" and "Distinguished Service Award." He has also been honored as a "Distinguished Alumnus" of Sherman College.
