Management and Staff
The reviews suggest that the management and staff of Cedar Flats are either unprofessional or unhelpful. Kaydee Peterman, a 1-star reviewer, describes the staff as "condescending and rude" who do not care about the residents' concerns. Samantha Blanchard, a 2-star reviewer, had a similar experience, encountering a rude staff member who was unhelpful.
On the other hand, some reviewers have had positive experiences with the staff. Tanya Underdown, Denise Dwight, Joel Nguiffo, Sheila Sloan, Christopher Sorto, and Michelle Talent all praised the friendly and responsive staff.
Maintenance and Amenities
Problems with maintenance and amenities were common complaints. Kaydee Peterman reported that her AC broke twice, and appliances were not reliable. Samantha Blanchard had issues with the pool/spa area and the staff. Joel Nguiffo mentioned that the gym was great, but there was only one maintenance tech, which caused delays in completing work orders.
In contrast, Sheila Sloan and Michelle Talent praised the cleanliness of their apartments when they moved in. Christopher Sorto mentioned that the location was within walking distance to campus and downtown.
Resident Experience
Kaydee Peterman described Cedar Flats as "terribly overpriced" and "cheaply built." Samantha Blanchard felt like it didn't feel like a home, and the staff didn't make it better.
On the other hand, Tanya Underdown, Denise Dwight, Joel Nguiffo, Sheila Sloan, Christopher Sorto, and Michelle Talent all expressed satisfaction with their living experience.
