Our Story

Modis Architects was founded in 2008 by co-founders Robert K. Morisette and Ivo Fernandez Jr. With a desire to create a positive work environment that fostered camaraderie, cultivated talent, and engaged creativity, they opened their Miami studio. Today, our team has grown to over 50 employees, with principals licensed in several states. We have broadened our focus to include land use consulting, urban planning, mixed-use developments, hospitality, ecclesiastic, interior design, and high-end single-family residential.
