Happy Rocky Resort

Happy Rock Resort is a lakeside family cabin resort located in Lawton, Michigan. We have been in operation for fifteen years, and over the years, we have continuously upgraded and improved our facilities to provide a more enjoyable experience for our guests. Our resort is situated on nearly 2 acres of pure Michigan solitude, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere for your vacation. Each of our private rental cabin accommodations includes ample parking, shaded relaxation areas, outdoor Weber gas grills, community fire pit, and 8' aluminum picnic tables. We also have a private on-site boat launch, where you can rent a pontoon boat if you wish to explore Gravel Lake.

About Gravel Lake

Gravel Lake is an all sports lake located in Lawton, Michigan. It covers an area of nearly 300 acres and features good visibility with a maximum depth of 51 feet. The lake is spring fed from the main body as well as its channel and has a spillway on Idle Ease beach. This outlet feeds Big Fish Lake and an inlet swamp named Strawberry Lake. Gravel Lake hosts healthy populations of northern pike, largemouth bass, bluegill, yellow perch, bullhead, and even some walleye and crappie. You can enjoy water sports such as wake boarding, tubing, skiing, kayaking, and zooming around on your preferred personal watercraft like jet skis and wave runners. Just remember to be safe and respectful of other lake users.
