Empowering Women in Estate Planning

The Women's Estate Planning Council (WEPC) is a professional organization dedicated to promoting interaction between women estate planning professionals educationally, professionally, and socially. Founded in 1995, WEPC has grown from a small group of a dozen women to over 90 professional women and men working in the estate planning field.

History of WEPC

WEPC was created to fill a void in the Denver area, providing a platform for women to connect, learn, and grow within the estate planning profession. With a focus on education, networking, and community building, WEPC has established itself as a reputable and valued organization.

Membership

WEPC membership is open to attorneys, certified public accountants, accredited financial service professionals, and trust officers. Additionally, WEPC offers Associate Membership for individuals who are not eligible for full membership but are actively engaged in a field complementary to estate planning. Active students pursuing a degree in a qualifying field may also be eligible for an Associate Student Membership.

Membership Benefits

As a WEPC member, you can expect to enjoy the following benefits:

  • Attendance at nine meetings per year, featuring an educational program, networking opportunities, and a social dinner
  • Continuing Education ("CE") credits generally available for approved courses for attorneys, CFP professionals, and insurance professionals
  • Inclusion in the WEPC members list with contact information and website link viewable by the public
  • Speaking and sponsorship opportunities

Membership Requirements

To be eligible for WEPC membership, individuals must meet the requirements listed above. Annual dues are $200.00, due in May of each year. First-time members joining at any time during the year pay $200.00 and their membership will be up for renewal again.

WEPC Leadership

The Women's Estate Planning Council is led by a team of dedicated officers and committee members who work together to advance the organization's mission and goals. Our leadership is committed to providing excellent educational programs, fostering a sense of community, and promoting the value of estate planning professionals.

WEPC and NAEPC

WEPC has been honored as a 5-Star Council by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC). This prestigious recognition demonstrates our commitment to excellence in education, leadership, and community engagement.
