The Family Health Centers is Asheville's largest independent family practice, dedicated to providing quality, compassionate care to the whole family. Our team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, clinical pharmacy practitioners, and staff, are committed to delivering comprehensive services that cater to all ages and stages of life.

Our Providers

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. China G. Cox to our Arden office. Dr. Cox completed her residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She has a special interest in patients with multiple chronic illnesses and women's health. Dr. Cox is passionate about involving patients in decision-making processes and ensuring they understand their care plans.

We also welcome Dr. Timothy J. Seneker to our team. Dr. Seneker completed his residency at the Fort Collins Colorado Family Medicine program and graduated from East Tennessee State University - Quillen College of Medicine. He offers full scope Family Medicine including newborn care, pediatrics, adult and sports medicine, and has worked in large-scale community medicine, value-based care models, and public health programs.

Furthermore, we are excited to introduce Clinical Pharmacy Practitioner Valerie Barnett, who is passionate about empowering others to achieve their healthcare goals with a focus on chronic disease management, preventative care, and wellness. She enjoys travel, nature, literature, and food, and is an avid "reader" of audiobooks with a special love for mysteries, fantasy, and science fiction.
