Our Story

Firebird Design Works was founded in 2004 by Tina Wilson, publisher of Grand County Living Magazine. In 2007, Lisa Bornfriend joined the team, and in 2016, she became the new owner of the company. With a passion for design and a deep understanding of the local business landscape, Lisa has taken the company to new heights. Her expertise in graphic design, web design, and development, combined with her creative vision, has enabled Firebird Design Works to deliver exceptional results to our clients.

Our Team

Meet Lisa Bornfriend, our owner, graphic designer, and web developer. With a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a minor in Photography, Lisa has been in the design industry since 2003. She has a passion for staying on top of new trends and has attended seminars and studied top design publications to stay ahead of the curve. When she's not designing, Lisa enjoys hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, and practicing yoga.
