Helms Heating & Air Conditioning began as a small metal fabrication shop called Helms Fabricating in 1979, founded by Morrison Helms. Since the very beginning, Morrison instilled a strong commitment to providing the highest quality workmanship at competitive prices, a philosophy that has resonated through the company's journey. Witnessing the growing needs of the community, Morrison's son Steve joined the company in 1986, successfully expanding it into residential new construction, a move that propelled Helms to become one of the largest heating and air conditioning companies in the Charlotte area.
