Drs. McClain and Schallhorn's Background
Pamela K. McClain, D.D.S., is a highly respected periodontist known for her work in periodontal regeneration and her contributions to periodontal research. Dr. McClain has given over 100 professional presentations throughout the United States and abroad, and she has published numerous articles and Abstracts in dental and medical journals.
Rachel A. Schallhorn, D.D.S., M.S., is a board-certified periodontist with extensive training in both surgical and non-surgical periodontal care and dental implant treatment. Dr. Schallhorn is also a licensed periodontist in Colorado and is board-certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Education and Training
Drs. McClain and Schallhorn have received extensive education and training in periodontics and dental implantology. Dr. McClain received her B.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of Colorado and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. Dr. Schallhorn received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Colorado and completed her post-doctoral training in periodontics at the University of California in San Francisco.

Dr. McClain has received numerous awards for her research in periodontal regeneration, including the R. Earl Robinson Periodontal Regeneration Award from the American Academy of Periodontology.
