Our Expert Barbers

Our team of skilled barbers, led by our owner Diane Philips, have years of experience and a passion for their craft. Diane, who graduated from Miller Barber College, has been in the industry for over 35 years and has had the pleasure of cutting hair for clients of all ages, from newborn babies to centenarians. Her dedication to her work and her ability to connect with her clients on a personal level has made her a beloved fixture in the Bellingham community.

Andrew Leese, another talented barber at our shop, has a rich history with us, having worked here for over a decade before embarking on a three-year round-the-world bicycle expedition. Upon his return, he resumed his position at the shop, bringing with him new experiences and perspectives that have further enhanced his skills as a barber.

Our standard haircuts include a hot-lather neck shave and shoulder massage for men, and women's cuts are finished with a shoulder massage as well. For our younger clients, we often do buzz cuts, "regulars, " fauxhawks, or the popular "surfer look."

We also offer a special discount for military personnel, retirees, and students, as well as a "first haircut certificate" for our youngest clients. And if you're looking for a clean shave, Diane is the expert you can count on, having wielded her straight-edge razor since 1983.
