Our story began over a century ago, and today we have grown into a multi-faceted business that includes plumbing, HVAC, and sheet metal services. Our History

Standard Plumbing & Heating was founded in Canton, Ohio in 1912 as a small plumbing company. Over the years, we have grown and expanded our services to include HVAC and sheet metal work. Today, we operate from a campus that includes two warehouses and headquarters for both Standard Plumbing & Heating and Sheet Metal Crafters, Inc. Our campus is also home to a dedicated service department.

Our involvement in the air conditioning industry began more than 60 years ago with the installation of the first large-scale air conditioning project at Canton City Hall. This marked the beginning of our long-standing reputation for quality work and customer satisfaction. Today, we continue to serve clients throughout Central Ohio from our Canton campus and our office in Mansfield.

Our plumbing & piping services are the foundation of our business, and we have installed many of the piping systems found in industrial facilities throughout Stark County and Central Ohio. Our reliable technicians are available 24/7 for emergency service, and we offer preventative maintenance programs to extend the operational life of HVAC and plumbing equipment.
