Our History

Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd. has been serving the Elizabethville community for many years, providing funeral services with dignity and compassion. In 2022, we added the former Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home to our family, and in 2021, we welcomed the former John R. Shultz Funeral Home in Lykens. This expansion allows us to better serve the families of Lykens and Klingerstown, as well as our previous clients from Rothermel and Shultz. With our additional locations, we now offer private family rooms, monument displays, large gathering areas, and the latest in technology at each of our facilities. You can be assured that your loved one never leaves our care, as our expert embalmers and cremationists treat each person as if they were our own family.
