Welcome to Daou Engineers, Inc., a premier engineering firm dedicated to providing cutting-edge design, design review, and consultation services. Our story began in 1997 when our President, Cesar Daou PE, LEED AP, founded the company with a vision to deliver sustainable, cost-effective, and experienced solutions to the Biotech and Pharmaceutical industry. Since our inception, we have worked closely with numerous clients, including Pfizer, Sibley Hospital, USACE, NIAID, NIH, USAMRIID, USDA, Hoffmann-La Roche, Rutgers University, and many others.

Our mission is to bridge the gaps between the owner, the design team, and the constructors, ensuring that our clients' facility needs, budget requirements, site conditions, and organizational goals are met. We specialize in Research and Development planning and design, with over 14.5 million square feet of laboratory, vivarium, pilot plant, clean rooms, and cGMP areas under our belt. We have extensive experience in optimizing Central utility Plant with over 160,000-Ton of Chiller Plant capacity.

• Daou Engineers Corporate Entity has domesticated in Florida as of January 1, 2023.
• We are providing design for a 16,000 sf laboratory space relocation for Pfizer at their Parsippany, NJ Location.
• We have been providing MEP Engineering consultation for Sibley Hospital in the District of Columbia (a John Hopkins Hospital).
• We have provided MEP Engineering & BSL-4/BSL-3 High Level Biocontaiment consultation for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers- Baltimore District on the USAMRIID facility at Fort Dietrick, MD.
• We have provided the design for a phased 15 AHU replacement in 5 mechanical rooms totaling over 500,000CFM at the Pfizer Peapack NJ facility.
• We have provided the design for an ABSL-3 Suite for the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD.
• Hoffmann-La Roche Building 76 is awarded LEED Gold certification!
