Ackerman-Estvold is a full-service architectural and civil engineering consulting firm serving clients throughout North Dakota, Montana, and Idaho. Founded in Minot, ND, in 2003, the company has grown into a well-respected organization with a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of architecture and civil engineering. Our team is composed of highly experienced individuals with expertise ranging from initial planning to closeout and every step in between.

Over the years, Ackerman-Estvold has expanded its locations and service offerings. In 2013, the company merged with AmeriTech Engineering Corporation and ABC Building Concepts, LLC, both based in Williston, ND, expanding its presence in North Dakota. In 2018, Ackerman-Estvold expanded beyond the state's borders to serve the Boise, Idaho area. In 2020, the firm merged with Anderson Wade & Whitty, PC, adding architectural team members and 40 years of architectural work throughout North Dakota, and established a Fargo location to serve all of North Dakota's residents.

Our current staff encompasses a wide range of professionals within the Minot, Williston, Fargo, Boise, and Ackerman Surveying offices. This includes civil engineering staff members, registered engineers, registered architects, architectural design staff, construction inspectors, GIS specialists, drone pilots, financial specialists, communications specialists, administrative staff members, and professional land surveyors. Ackerman-Estvold is proud to be headquartered in Minot, North Dakota.

Our Principals

Ryan Ackerman, PE, serves as President and CEO, bringing experience in project management, design, and construction engineering, with a passion for water resources. Steve Eberle, PE, is the VP and Chief Operations Officer, with expertise in design and construction engineering. Sean Weeks, PE, LEED AP, is the VP and Land Development Lead, possessing decades of civil engineering experience.
