Sanctuary Pottery Studio is a vibrant and welcoming space where the community comes together to learn, share, and grow in their pottery making skills. We opened our doors in 2018, driven by a group of friends who shared a desire for a peaceful place to express their creativity. Our primary instructor and owner, Dandee Pattee, began her pottery journey at Casper College and later earned a Master of Fine Art in Ceramics from the University of Florida. Dandee returned to Wyoming with a vision of creating a clay community where everyone feels welcomed and supported.

Our studio is more than just a place to learn pottery; it's a hub for friendship, idea sharing, and mutual support. We believe that the best thing about a community is that it's not just one person. Our goal is to provide a space where individuals can come together, learn from each other, and grow as artists.

Our Services

Sanctuary Pottery Studio offers a variety of classes for all skill levels. From beginner to advanced, we have something for everyone. Our classes include wheel throwing, handbuilding, and private lessons. We also offer studio memberships for those who want to take their pottery making to the next level.

We understand that everyone has different schedules and needs. That's why we provide our students with a door code, allowing them to access the studio outside of class time. This way, you can work on your projects at your own pace and convenience. We also offer flexible class registration options, including online sign-up, to make it easy for you to join us.

Our studio is equipped with everything you need to get started, including aprons, towels, and tools. However, we encourage you to bring your own supplies if you have them. We strive to create a comfortable and supportive environment where you can explore your creativity and develop your skills.
