Welcome to Dakota Dermatology, LTD! Our doctors and staff strive to provide an atmosphere where patients feel our compassion and team approach from the moment they are greeted by our front desk staff, to our provider's final goodbye. This respectful and cheerful atmosphere helps us promote the health and care of our patients. As an independent group, we are free to work with other physicians at any hospital or clinic. We are dedicated to directing our patients, whom require a multi-specialty approach, to the best physicians without concern for hospital or clinic affiliation.

Dakota Dermatology was founded by Dr. James R. McGrann in May of 1997. The practice was joined by Dr. Sarah K. Sarbacker in July of 1997., Dr. Kelly M. Jerstad in October of 2003, Dr. Carmen M. Schwartz in September of 2012, and Dr. Kendra D. Watson in July of 2017. Our Physician Assistants and Certified Nurse Practitioner work closely with the physicians to provide thorough and comprehensive care. Dakota Dermatology offers four certified Physician Assistants and one Certified Nurse Practitioner that provide specialized dermatological care.

Our Services

Our staff of highly qualified physicians, physician assistants, certified nurse practitioner, and nurses have many combined years of expertise and knowledge of the newest and improved, advanced treatments in dermatology. We offer a range of services, including full service general dermatology, in-office surgical procedures, and MOHS micrographic surgery.

In our full service general dermatology, we provide detailed, educational full body skin exams, treatment for acne, alopecia (hair loss), athlete's foot, fungal infections, eczema, contact dermatitis (allergies, rashes), herpes simplex (cold sores), herpes zoster (shingles), lupus, moles, nail disorders, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis (joint pain), biologic treatment therapy, rosacea, skin cancers, skin lesions, urticaria (hives), and warts.

Our in-office surgical procedures include general skin surgeries, such as removal of moles, cysts, skin tags, skin cancers, lipomas, and many different types of benign (non-cancerous) lesions, all performed under local anesthesia.
