Our Services
At Peter Weiss, Architect, we offer a variety of services tailored to meet your specific needs. From the initial consultation to the final design, we work closely with you to ensure that your project reflects your vision and meets your requirements.
Our services include:
- Consultation: A meeting with prospective clients to discuss a new home or addition and its feasibility within current zoning ordinances. This would include size restrictions, necessary parking, setbacks constraints, and height limitations. Prospective clients should bring a current survey and elevation certificate, if available, to the consultation meeting. The client may also bring any sketches or photographs that they may have of elements that they wish to see incorporated into the final design. At the meeting, we will generate a list of proposed ideas for the project, creating a "wish list."
- Schematic Design: The preparation of preliminary designs that incorporate the ideas expressed in the initial meeting.
- Design Development: The preliminary design is refined to fix the size and character of the project through client meetings or electronic review of the plans. Once the plans are determined, the development of elevations will take place.
- Zoning, Planning, or Design Review Board Approvals: If necessary, small-scale drawings are prepared for presentation to a review board for approval. The Architect accompanies the client to the hearing and testifies on behalf of the project.
