Our Story

Lew Miesz, our President, founded the company in 2014 after working in the air conditioning industry for over 26 years. He started his career as a service technician and worked his way up to service manager at two companies before becoming the President of Miesz Mechanical. Lew holds the highest level of mechanical certifications available and has received numerous awards and accolades throughout his career.

Experience and Education

Lew attended Pinellas Vocational Technical Institute (now known as Pinellas Technical College) for Air Conditioning, Refrigeration & Heating Technology and was Vice President of VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America). He holds just about every Trane certification offered, including the most recent variable speed compressor, variable speed motor, and VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) training. This extensive experience and education enable us to provide unparalleled expertise in the field.

Throughout his career, Lew has received numerous awards and accolades, including the Mary Casey Award for Outstanding Vocational Student, the Pastor's Award for Outstanding Christian Character, and the Rexford D.
