Our History

NVCC has a rich history, dating back to 1964, when it was established as a branch of Mattatuck Community College. Over the years, we have grown and evolved, expanding our programs and services to meet the changing needs of our students and the community. Today, we are a thriving institution, with two campuses in Waterbury and Danbury, serving over 7,000 students from across the region.
