Improving Lives Through Quality Healthcare and Tobacco Cessation
Since its inception in 1971, Information & Quality Healthcare (IQH), an independent, not-for-profit corporation, has earned the trust of the Mississippi healthcare community through its depth of experience, knowledge, and longevity of staff, as well as its solid base of physician support. Over the years, IQH has worked in quality improvement under contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for over 40 years and has provided tobacco cessation services since 1999.

Our mission is to lead in improving the quality, appropriateness, and utilization of healthcare through continuous improvement principles. We strive to be recognized as a leader in promoting a quality healthcare system in Mississippi.

Our vision is to be a leader in promoting a quality healthcare system in Mississippi, providing coaching, education on tobacco, health information, and product knowledge to those who wish to improve the quality of life for themselves and their families.
Our Services
IQH has been providing professional tobacco cessation services through our quitline programs since 1999. Our master's-level, behavioral health professionals are tobacco treatment specialists who provide behavior change coaching to those who want to quit. Qualified participants are eligible for nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) at no charge. Our services have expanded beyond telephonic services to include online cessation coaching. Qualified participants using online services are also eligible for NRT at no charge. Our services are available in English and Spanish, with translation services available.
