If you're looking for a place to experience the true beauty of Iowa's Driftless Region, then Andy Mountain Campground and Cabins is the perfect destination for you. Our rich history dates back to the 1940s, and we've been providing a comfortable and relaxing stay for all our guests since then. Our story began with Bob and Mae Daubendiek, who purchased 65 acres of land and started clearing the property. In 1962, their son Andy Robert passed away, and the property was developed further to honor his memory, leading to what is now known as Andy's Mountain.

At Andy Mountain, we're proud to offer a range of facilities and services designed to make your stay with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Our luxury cabin rentals are perfect for those who want to experience the great outdoors without compromising on comfort. Each cabin is equipped with all the amenities you need to make your stay enjoyable. For those who prefer to bring their home with them, our RV Park offers the perfect spot to park your recreational vehicle and enjoy the beautiful views of the Mississippi River.

A Brief History

Over the years, the property has changed hands a few times. In 1974, Lawrence and Phyliss Krueger took over and cared for the property until 2000, when Robert and Debra Vavra purchased it. Since then, we've been expanding and improving the property, adding new facilities like updated electrical and sewer systems, and of course, our beautiful log cabin rentals, which were added in 2007.
