Our History

Lovinger Insurance was founded in 1999 and is an independent insurance agency located in South Tampa, Florida. We are licensed to represent and sell many lines of insurance products from a large variety of companies. We are a full-service agency offering personal and commercial property and casualty products, utilizing the most up-to-date secure web-based programs and services, which allows us to maintain the safety and privacy of our customer information. We utilize comparative rating programs which enable us to quote multiple companies simultaneously to quickly determine which carrier will offer the best coverage at the best price. We have a staff of highly trained licensed insurance professionals who are committed to building long-term relationships with our customers, based on exceptional service, integrity, and trust. Our team includes:

• Lynne Lovinger, Agency Principal, who started her career with a major New York retailer as an Executive Trainee and moved to Florida in 1983.
• Sandy White, Office Manager, who has over 25 years of experience as an office manager and is the backbone of the agency.
• Sharon Stetsky, Senior Agent, who began her professional career as a clothing buyer in Connecticut and New York, and worked her way down to Florida to be closer to family.
• Cary Reyes, Agent, who began working at a large Northern New Jersey managing general agency focusing on mid-sized Commercial accounts.
• Julie Knapp, Agent, who started her own business in the field of muscular therapy before the age of 20 and later transitioned into the corporate world, becoming the assistant to the Chief Financial Officer of an Automotive Management Company.
