Lazarusman was established to address the growing need to treat individuals for behavioral-mental health related problems. We are a community-based behavioral-mental health service provider. Our master's level counselors are also licensed by the State of Michigan and Certified by the Michigan Certification Board of Addiction Professionals. Our staff is committed to providing the highest level of treatment to the community we serve. Lazarusman proudly serves the Muskegon County, Ottawa County, Oceana County, and Kent County area and is centrally located to meet the needs of the community.

Services Offered

We offer various services including Anger Management Group, Domestic Violence Group, Shoplifting and Theft Addiction Group, and ASAM Level 1 Substance Use Disorder Group. Each group is designed to address specific behavioral-mental health issues, focusing on different aspects such as managing anger, preventing domestic violence, overcoming shoplifting and theft addiction, and recovering from substance use disorders.

In the Anger Management Group, we aim to help individuals decrease episodes of anger and aggressive behavior by examining their life choices and evaluating their values. The Domestic Violence Group focuses on preventing future episodes of domestic violence by understanding the roles involved and addressing physical, sexual, and verbal/emotional abuse. The Shoplifting and Theft Addiction Group targets preventing shoplifting and theft behavior by managing responses to anger and depression. Lastly, the ASAM Level 1 Substance Use Disorder Group focuses on the identification of the SUD and recovery process used to overcome the SUD problem.
