Peak Fitness is a full-service fitness and climbing center located in Buena Vista, Colorado. Our 7,500-square foot, climate-controlled facility provides a wide array of strength equipment, free-weights, cardio equipment, climbing, classes, and training services to members and guests. Our services are available to Buena Vista, greater Chaffee County, and the surrounding mountain community.
Our History
Peak Fitness was established in 2007 by multi-generational local owners Marcus and Lacee Trusty. Marcus and Lacee both grew up in Buena Vista and are avid outdoor enthusiasts. Peak Fitness is a reflection of their active lifestyle. With over 17 years of experience, Peak Fitness has grown from a small "hole in the wall" gym with a few hundred members into the diverse multi-use facility that now houses the 24/7 Fitness Center, group fitness studio, climbing gym, and performance training studio.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of our diverse membership, including:
- Personal Training: One-on-One Personal Training with certified trainers to help you reach your unique goals
- Group Fitness: Over 30 group fitness classes weekly, including Zumba, HIIT, and Yoga
- Youth Fitness: A youth performance training program prioritizing correct patterns of movement, coordination, and body control
- Tactical Performance Training: A program designed for First Responders or anyone with an active lifestyle
- Senior Fitness: A fitness program designed for seniors to improve flexibility, balance, and overall health
- Hiking and Climbing: A climbing gym with routes up to 40' and auto-belays
- Nutrition and Supplements: A Pro Shop and Nutrition Center featuring MTN Ops Supplements and Friction Labs Chalk
Our Staff
Our staff is composed of certified trainers, instructors, and coaches, including:
- Marcus Trusty: A CSCS Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with over twenty years of experience in the fitness industry
- Lacee Trusty: A passionate group fitness expert with 17 years of experience as a fitness instructor
- Jack Spady: A Strength & Conditioning Coach, Personal Trainer, and Group Fitness Instructor
- Cody Troudt: A Personal Trainer, Member Services, and Strength and Conditioning Coach
- Mackenzie Campbell: The instructor for the climbing gym
- Carolyn Wright: A Yoga Instructor
