Darryl Schmitt Photography is a full-service studio that has been serving the New Orleans area since 1981. With over 45 years of experience in the industry, Darryl Schmitt has established himself as a skilled and dedicated photographer who is committed to capturing life's most precious moments.

Schmitt's journey into photography began in 1973 when he shot his first wedding for Romaguera Photography. He went on to study and work for Romaguera until 1981, at which point he decided to start his own business. Since then, Schmitt has continued to hone his skills and expand his knowledge by attending seminars and conventions.

Schmitt's home-based studio in Metairie, LA, allows him to provide a personalized experience for his clients. He believes that working from home helps create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for his clients, whether they are being photographed or picking up their portraits. As a member of the Professional Photographer of America and the Professional Photographer of Louisiana, Schmitt has won numerous awards and held various positions within these organizations.
