Camp Oneka

Welcome to Camp Oneka for Girls, where we have been fostering a love for the great outdoors and creating lifelong friendships for over 115 years. Our history and tradition are woven into the fabric of our camp, offering a unique and supportive environment for girls to grow in confidence and self-reliance.

Our camp is located on the shores of Fairview Lake in the Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania. Here, we provide an exciting and fun-filled camp experience for girls ages 7-16. We believe in creating a small, caring, family-style environment where girls can feel safe and supported as they participate in a variety of activities and make lifelong friendships.

At Camp Oneka, we understand the importance of providing a supportive environment for girls to develop their self-confidence and explore new experiences. This is why we are committed to maintaining our small size of approximately 125 campers and a 1 to 3 staff-to-camper ratio. This allows us to offer personalized attention and care to each of our campers, ensuring that they have the best possible experience at Oneka.

We are also committed to the girls' camp concept, as we believe that it provides a unique opportunity for girls to enjoy new experiences in a supportive, non-threatening, non-judgmental environment. At Oneka, girls can shed the stereotypes and distractions that may limit their growth and reach their full potential by participating in new activities and experiencing leadership opportunities.

Our Services

Camp Oneka offers a wide range of activities and services to ensure that our campers have an unforgettable experience. From water activities such as swimming, sailing, and waterskiing on beautiful Fairview Lake, to land activities like soccer, volleyball, tower climbing, and hiking, there's something for everyone at Oneka. We also offer a variety of creative pursuits, including theater, music, and arts and crafts.

In addition to our regular camp activities, we also offer special events and trips throughout the summer. These may include camping trips, picnics, and outings to local attractions. We believe that these experiences not only provide a break from the daily routine of camp but also offer valuable opportunities for our campers to learn new skills and make lasting memories.

Accommodations

At Camp Oneka, we offer comfortable and rustic accommodations that are designed to enhance the outdoor camping experience. Our cabins are equipped with modern amenities while still maintaining their traditional charm.
