Problems with Appointments and Scheduling
Several reviewers had issues with scheduling and keeping appointments. Author Jennifer S. had a long wait time and was told to come back after an hour and 30 minutes, only to have their appointment rescheduled. Another reviewer, Debra C., had to wait two months for a follow-up appointment and was eventually told that the attending doctor had an emergency surgery. These issues led to frustration and disappointment for the reviewers.
Lack of Personal Hygiene and Cleanliness
K.T. was disturbed by the lack of personal hygiene and cleanliness among staff members. They reported seeing staff members not washing their hands before putting on gloves, and then touching various objects before treating patients. The reviewer felt that the lack of cleanliness was a significant concern, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Poor Pain Management
Michelle M. had a tooth pulled and was given ibuprofen 600mg for pain management. She reported feeling excruciating pain for more than a week and was unable to eat due to the medication regimen. The reviewer felt that the treatment was inadequate and that the staff should have offered more effective pain management options.
Difficult Nurse
Anjana Yadav had a negative experience with a nurse named Tasha, who became confrontational and created a scene during her daughter's dental procedure. The reviewer felt that the nurse's behavior was unacceptable and that it negatively impacted their overall experience at the practice.
Good Experiences
On the other hand, some reviewers had positive experiences at the practice. Julia W. had her wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Carrasco and reported that the procedure was quick and efficient. Tracey K. praised the quality of care at the family practice, reporting that the doctors and assistants were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Joanie M. Marie felt safe and supported at the practice, which gave her hope after experiencing cancer treatment.
