Who We Are

Beilharz Architects is an architectural consultancy that prioritizes understanding your goals before design even begins. We achieve this by asking incisive questions that get to the heart of the project, allowing us to provide you with solutions that accurately meet your needs.

What We Do

At Beilharz Architects, we see and think differently. We have the ability to visualize space where none exists, and we consider designs in 3D, and sometimes even 4D. We also listen, question, anticipate, investigate, analyze, guide, suggest, and solve. Our services are geared towards clients who have clients, developers who have tenants, healthcare providers that serve patients, districts that educate their communities, and organizations that provide people services. Many of our clients do multiple projects with the same construction team, and we ensure that we understand a client's operations and how we can best function as part of their building team.

History

Beilharz Architects was founded in 1966 by Terry E. Beilharz and Richard Pastor, offering Architecture and Landscape Architecture services. The firm incorporated in 1979 and moved to its present location, and following Richard Pastor's retirement, the firm was renamed Beilharz Architects, Inc. in 1992. In 2003, a new affiliation was formed with ATA Beilharz Architects in Cincinnati.

Our Team

Our team is composed of experienced and skilled professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality services. They include Kraig Beilharz AIA, NCARB, Principal/Sr. Management Lead, Jerry Overmier Principal, Sr. Project Lead, Kent Purk Principal, Project Design Lead, Leon Ruch RA, NCARB, CCS, LEED AP BD+C, Project CA Lead Specifier, Jason Metz CAD Tech, Sr., Sr. Project Manager, Zach Beilharz Structural Engineer, Spencer Beckman CAD Tech, Civil, John Jacob Designer/Mechanical, and Lynn Clady Interior Designer.

Community Involvement

Beilharz Architects and their staff members are deeply rooted in rural Northwest Ohio. Our staff lives and volunteers for local communities all across this corner of the state. We take pride in the level of involvement our staff has within their local communities.

State Registrations

Beilharz Architects and ATA Beilharz Architects hold valid NCARB certifications allowing for reciprocity in other jurisdictions (with state approval).
