Our Story

Chief Electric Company was founded in 1996 by Mark Quinton, driven by a vision to build a company that prioritized employee well-being, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction. After two decades of experience as an electrician with other firms, Mark recognized the importance of creating a work environment that fostered respect, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence. With a dedication to this core philosophy, he proudly saw his dream become a reality.

Initially operating out of his home with a modest investment, Chief Electric initially focused on residential electrical work, steadily building a reputation for reliability and skill. Driven by a desire to expand and provide a wider range of services, the company transitioned into the Federal Procurement Sector in 2003, becoming a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) through the Small Business Administration (SBA) 8a program. This strategic move opened doors to larger-scale projects and collaborations with prominent government agencies, including the Department of Navy, NSA, Internal Revenue Service, BAE Systems, Tecnology Solutions and Service, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
