Yours For Children

Established in 1985, Yours for Children, Inc. has been a dedicated nonprofit organization in the state of Massachusetts, serving as a sponsor for the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Our mission is to reimburse family child care providers for the nutritious meals and snacks they serve to children in their care. We are committed to promoting healthy eating habits among children and enhancing the quality of service in family child care settings.

Our organization conducts periodic reviews of home child care settings to monitor participation in the CACFP. During these visits, we provide individualized training, observe meals and snacks, and interact with children through planned, nutrition-related activities. We take pride in supporting licensed child care providers and relative informal child care providers with comprehensive training on nutrition, food safety, and sanitation. By participating in our program, providers can serve well-balanced, nutrient-dense meals to infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. The best part is that participation in the CACFP is entirely free!

Reimbursement Rates and Income Eligibility Guidelines

At Yours for Children, Inc., we provide our providers with competitive reimbursement rates for meals and snacks served to children in their care. Our reimbursement rates are updated annually and are effective from 7/1/2023 to 6/30/2024, as follows:

• Tier I:

+ Breakfast - $1.65

+ Lunch - $3.12

+ Supper - $3.12

+ Snacks - $0.93

• Tier II:

+ Breakfast - $0.59

+ Lunch - $1.88

+ Supper - $1.88

+ Snacks - $0.25

The income eligibility guidelines for our program are also updated annually and are effective from 7/1/2023 to 6/30/2024, as shown below:
