He has made the on-going policy at Collaborative Dental to always listen attentively and be sensitive to the needs of every patient. Dr. Fung knows that each patient has a different story with unique circumstances and the best way to achieve objectives is through teamwork with a qualified and attentive professional. He treats his patients with kindness and respect because patient comfort and satisfaction is his top priority. Dr. Fung purposely keeps the practice small so that he is able to give each patient the individual attention they deserve. He never pressures a patient into any procedure, no matter the circumstances. Collaborative Dental maintains a policy in which patients make decisions that are right for them. Dr. Fung will explore all of the available options with the patient, provide the benefits and costs of each procedure, then let patients make the personal decision that is best for them. He and the Collaborative Dental staff strive to make patients that come in feel empowered and valued while practicing gentle compassionate dentistry. It is important that each patient leaves happy, whether they had a cleaning or a root canal.

When Dr. Fung is not at the office, he enjoys fishing, archery, traveling, cooking, coffee roasting, and trying out restaurants and cafes.

Summer will likely be the first person to greet you when you walk through the door. She is the Office Manager at Collaborative Dental and her priority is to make you feel comfortable and to answer any questions that you may have regarding your treatment. Summer is a native San Diegan and in her off hours enjoys relaxing at the beach, discovering hidden restaurant gems, and teaching English to her parrot, Coconut. She is experienced and well trained at handling any financial or insurance questions that you might encounter.
